b) Job Duties:
> Software design with input all the way up to architectural design.
> Working at all layers of the stack.
> RTOS development and software architecture.
> Device driver development.
> Support for the wider Electronic Engineering teams (As required).
> Support to the Production Engineering & Manufacturing teams to aid efficient production.

d) Experience, Knowledge and Skills required:Key Skills
> Strong experience with C, C++ in an embedded Linux.
> Embedded C.
> Battery Powered Device development.
> Linux kernel, drivers, GCC, GDB.
> Object Orientated programming in Java; UML diagramming.
> C++11, STL or frameworks such as Qt.
> IDEs like eclipse and net beans.
> Unit Testing frameworks such as Google Test, Mockito and similar.
> Previous experience of delivering projects in an Agile environment.
> TDD Familiarity.
> Open source development tools and methodology understanding.
> Embedded systems security mechanisms.
> Strong debug and problem solving skills using the latest tools.
> Experienced developing and debugging multithreaded and/or multiprocess code.
> Ability to understand complex issues and discuss them via phone, email and other methods.
> Flexible, can-do approach.
> Consultancy or other customer facing role.
e) Experience required
> Minimum 5 years experience in software development for consumer electronics.
> Embedded or mobile Java, JNI.
> Networking protocols and standards including TCP/IP, Wi-Fi, UPnP, DLNA, HLS or MPEG-DASH.
> Experience of secure interfacing with head-end systems.
> Scrum methodologies.
> Developing the best in embedded software for consumer electronic products.
